What agile event programs are and why they're essential

Jet Rodriguez

VP, Marketing

Pete Richardson is a host of exceptional ability. Studies show that a vast majority of guests attending events by Pete have been known to leave more elated than visitors to Santa's Workshop, The Lost of Continent of Atlantis, and the Fountain of Youth.

10:00am :

Work Space Panel

After two months of sheltering in place and with many workers unemployed or telecommuting from home, both employers and employees are looking forward to returning to safe workplaces.

With many levels of evolving guidance and new spatial requirements this panel will discuss tangible and practical ways to think about space planning.

11:00am:

Community Well Being During and After COVID-19 Community Round table Discussion

Join members of The Urban Professionals Network as they discuss the impact of COVID-19 in one of the hardest hit communities.
We will discuss items such as mental health, maintaining social & businesses relationships, and what you can do to stay safe in this environment.

12:00pm:

Economic Rebound Panel

Forward New Haven:  With the greater New Haven economy deeply impacted by COVID 19, we will learn from global best practices for transitioning from disaster relief to economic recovery. Please join us for an initial conversation about potential pathways for a strong revival of New Haven’s economy. Our goal is not simply revival, but a revival that recognizes the needs of our community’s most vulnerable members that is inclusive of all of New Haven’s neighborhoods and residents..

1:00pm:

Climate and Health Equity Panel

After Covid 19, what role does the  public realm, our corridors and streets,  have in addressing health inequities and climate change? How can land use and transportation policies be shaped by ground up innovative and participatory input, highlighting public health, health equity, and climate change?  What can we learn from models like Bogota’s Ciclovia and Cape Town's "Talking Streets" project, focusing on local knowledge as an asset for policymaking processes?

3:00pm:

Creative Power Panel: How Arts and Culture Heals, Connects and responds to COVID-19

As many plans are being built to restore our communities to the way they were, this round table will explore why artists and cultural institutions are essential to renewing them in new ways. Through the experiences of the panelists and our shared conversation, join us to explore the vital role of arts and culture in New Haven during this crisis.
